John, President & Founder (retired)
Dr. John has dedicated his life to serving others and feels privileged to provide leadership and vision to The Aker Kasten Family of Caregivers in these challenging days of healthcare reform. Approaching all he does with excellence, diligence, and integrity, John is determined to provide unparalleled service to his clients and their families. In fact, he believes we are afforded a unique opportunity to enhance your quality of life in your home and that we should treat you as a cherished family member! With a background as an Intelligence Officer and later Chaplain in The United States Army, John has been privileged to serve, counsel, and care for many in our Armed Forces for 20 years both in the field and in military medical facilities. If you are a veteran, tell John – he’s always happy to hear your stories!
Rose, Co-President & Founder (retired)
Rose provides leadership in the agency office, making sure all the integral behind-the-scenes business is properly attended to so that caregivers can focus on YOU! Rose is known for her sweet, sincere, humble spirit, and a ready smile. Rose, with husband John, has three grown daughters and 17 grandchildren – she knows a thing or two about tender loving care! Rose also had the privilege of caring for her mother-in-law for several years and has great empathy for the challenges of aging in the home.

Matthew, Executive Director
Matthew joined our team in 2012, bringing his 16 years of experience in oversight and administration within non-profit organizations to provide leadership to the agency’s service to the seniors throughout South Florida. He and his wife, along with their four children live in Boca Raton. Matthew values the important role seniors have played in our community and is excited about giving back to the senior community throughout their aging process in the years to come.
Jana, Director of Development
Jana joined the Aker Kasten Home Health Care team in 2012. Throughout her life, Jana has sought out and nurtured sweet and sincere relationships with seniors. Her devotion inspires and strengthens our agency’s commitment to do all we can to improve the quality of life of our patients. Jana is truly invested in her advocacy role and thoroughly delights in interacting with our clients and their families. We are blessed to benefit from her warmth, humility, and organizational skills.
Natalie, Director of Operations
Natalie joined Aker Kasten in July, 2021. As Director of Operations, she works to make the office run smoothly, providing supplies, printed materials, and support for each department. She knows there is a treasure within our senior generation and she delights in contributing to their personalized care. Natalie’s favorite way to spend time is with her husband and their four children.
Kim, RN, Director Of Care
Kim started with Aker Kasten 15 years ago (one of the first employees). Her previous work in her Father’s Family Practice, where she worked for 30 years, helped her to develop many lasting relationships. She enjoys making people happy and loves helping and encouraging seniors with her warmth, kindness, and compassion.
Julie, LPN, Geriatric Care Manager
Working with our sister company, Aker Kasten Senior Solutions, Julie works to provide compassionate and professional care management services to our clients and support to our caregiving team. She is committed to maintaining the dignity our patients while enhancing their daily activities.
Deborah, Scheduling Coordinator
Deborah was added to our office staff in 2023. Prior to working with us, she worked as a healthcare manager and phlebotomist. She has earned a bachelor’s degree in healthcare management and a master’s degree in healthcare administration. We are thankful for the work she does to connect compassionate, competent, and committed caregivers with our clients.
